The Children’s Developmental Clinic is a continuing education Volunteer Training program conducted in cooperation with Prince George’s Community College and the Department of Kinesiology in the School of Public Health at University of Maryland.

SPRING, 2012 - SCHEDULE

Training Sessions: (2 Saturdays) 2/4/12 and 2/11/12 from 8:30am to 12:30pm
Clinic Sessions: (9 Saturdays) from 2/18/12 through 4/21/12 (no Clinic 4/7/12)
Location: SPH Matted Gym, Ground Floor


One on One Support

Volunteer Student Clinicians are specially trained and supervised by the Children’s Developmental Clinic’s Professional Resource Staff to provide one on one support and developmental activities for children who are experiencing various developmental delays

 

 

 

Who should attend the Children’s Developmental Clinic?

  • Children between the ages of birth to 13 years
  • Children who need ongoing

- fine and gross motor development

- language development

- reading support

  • Any child with coordination difficulties and/or difficulties with recreational motor skills (i.e. accessing playground equipment, ball skills, jumping, biking, etc.)
