Exercise Physiology

Mira Grieser, MHS, is a Faculty Research Assistant in the Department of Kinesiology. She has experience in program evaluation, instrument development, and qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. Her research interests focus on physical activity behavior and obesity and chronic disease prevention. Her primary interests are in developing and evaluating school- and community-based physical activity interventions, particularly with adolescent girls. She is currently working with Trial of Activity for Adolescent Girls (TAAG), a field-based, multi-center trial funded by NHLBI to reduce the decline of physical activity in middle school girls
