Street Walking in Riverdale Heights, Maryland The Riverdale Heights community is in the one mile radius of the University of Maryland, the flag ship institution of higher education in the state. The Maryland Center for Health Equity is committed to eliminating health disparities to achieve health equity. To accomplish this goal we must first learn from the people in own very own neighborhood. The contrast between what you will see and learn on this video and our beautiful campus could not be greater. The Maryland Health Improvement and Disparities Reduction Act of 2012 provides incentives for establishment of Health Enterprise Zones. We believe the Riverdale Heights community is a perfect place for such a designation.
