Brit Saksvig, PhD(Assistant Professor, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics) received her PhD in international health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in 2002 and joined the UM faculty in 2002. Dr. Saksvig has 10 publications over her career. She has expertise in the design and evaluation of school-based physical activity and healthy eating interventions, physical activity and nutritional assessment, and specifically focuses on understanding physical activity behavior in adolescent girls. Dr. Saksvig has mentored one undergraduate and two graduate students to this point in her career.
