Students in the Community Health and Family Science degree programs have required internships.
You must be a current student to access the internship database: Search Internships
Outside of required internships, we always encourage students to gain as much experience in the field as possible. Talk to your advisor or the department's internship coordinator to learn more about the benefits of internships and various resources to look for internship opportunities. Additionally, the university is dedicated to providing you an internship experience through the President’s Promise. Learn more about the President’s Promise and the University Career Center by visiting their website at www.careercenter.umd.edu.
Note: If you have issues accessing the database or you have questions, please contact the internship coordinator for your department.
