Undergraduate + Graduate

BS + MPH Accelerated Degree Program
Any qualifying SPH major (FMSC, HLTH, KNES, PHSC) may apply for the SPH Accelerated BS-MPH Program, which allows students to double-count 12 credits of our MPH and MHA core course curriculum at the undergraduate level and enter any of our nine MPH concentrations (including the MHA degree). Find more information and contacts for the SPH Accelerated BS-MPH Program.

BS + Business Master’s (Plus 1) Program
Any qualifying SPH major (FMSC, HLTH, KNES, PHSC) may apply for the Robert H. Smith School of Business' Plus 1 Program, which allows for a dual degree program with the MS and MF degrees in various business concentrations. Find more information and contacts for the Robert H. PHSC BS and Pharmacy
The Public Health Science BS program has a partnership with the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Pharmacy to align BS coursework with the PharmD admissions requirements. Admission is not guaranteed, but we work to improve the chances
for successful admission to the PharmD. Contact the PHSC Advising Office for more information.
 

Graduate + Graduate

MD + MHA
This dual degree program with the University of Maryland Baltimore allows students to complete both an MD and MHA in 5 years through the UMB School of Medicine and the UMD SPH Department of Health Policy and Management. Contact the Department of Health Policy and Management for more information.

MPH + MCP (in preparation)
SPH is currently pursuing approval for a joint MPH + Master of Community Planning with the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. We hope to admit dual MPH-MCP students for Fall 2020. More information will be forthcoming.
