Chair, Family Science

This tenure-track Professor and Chair position will be responsible for promoting the departmental vision of physical, mental, and social well being of all families, in order to eliminate the burden of disease and health disparities, and to foster resilience and social justice. The Chair will oversee the department’s four interdisciplinary programs which examine both internal family processes and the dynamic interaction of families with the biological, behavioral, sociocultural, economic, and political aspects of their environment. This leadership involves working closely with FMSC faculty, students and staff, the Dean’s Office, and other campus leaders in a variety of areas.
