Are you passionate about international development and global health? Are you curious about a career helping individuals and communities abroad? Do you believe in the power of science to improve lives?

If so, then join us for a Career Shuttle site visit to FHI360: The Science of Improving Lives. FHI 360 (formerly Family Health International) is a nonprofit human development organization serving more than 70 countries and all U.S. states and territories. In collaboration with government agencies, foundations, corporations and community organizations, they design, deliver and evaluate services and solutions to address many of today’s most pressing social problems. Over the past two decades, FHI 360 has worked with partners to improve outcomes in HIV/AIDS prevention, obesity prevention, tobacco control, workplace safety, immunizations, education reform, access to and success in postsecondary education, support for young persons with disabilities, workforce development, youth development and engagement, and research and evaluation.

FHI360 staff include experts in health, education, nutrition, environment, economic development, civil society, gender, youth, research, technology, communication and social marketing — creating a unique mix of capabilities to address today's interrelated development challenges.

On this visit, you will get to interact with professional staff, learn about the mission and structure of the organization, hear about internship and fellowship programs- and tips for how to stand out in this competitive industry. You can learn more about their open opportunities here: https://www.fhi360.org/careers

Due to the limited space and the expected high demand for this trip, we will be enforcing our "no show" policy. If you find you cannot attend this event, please contact Simone Isaacs (sisaacs1@umd.edu) so that someone from the waiting list may take your spot. If you fail to attend this event, we will charge your student account $25 to recover some of our lost costs.
