SPH Overhang

Professor and Dean Boris Lushniak will speak about his experience as part of the CDC teams at Ground Zero and in Washington, DC, and will host the first annual SPH Environmental Cleanup Day. Students, faculty and staff will start at the SPH building’s overhang area at 10:30 and walk to the Community Learning Garden (in between Eppley and SPH building) for a clean up and planting event. Michael Carmichael, from the UMD Arboretum, will talk about our stormwater management on campus, and its impact on the watershed and the Bay.  He will lead participants in a effort to clean up and plant the lower rain garden.

All are welcome!
