Cannabis Smoking
Wednesday, January 23, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Cannabis use by college students is very different today compared with even a decade ago. Increases in potency and recent legislative changes in cannabis laws have generated many questions and concerns among education leaders and parents. Higher education professionals have asked to be up-to-date on new evidence related to serious problems associated with cannabis use.

In response, this one-hour webinar will provide the latest information on cannabis, the extent and methods of use among college students, and the connections to academic engagement, student performance, and mental health. We will review key points for conversations with students and offer the opportunity for participants to share experiences and challenges. Tips for identifying at-risk students and strategies for intervening with high-risk students will also be shared.
