Our undergraduate program offers an interdisciplinary curriculum, excellent internships, and a chance to collaborate with faculty and students on applied research. The Department’s Marriage and Family Therapy program is ranked among the very best in the nation, and our Ph.D. program is producing highly skilled scholars, teachers, and policy analysts who are in great demand. Our new Ph.D. in Maternal and Child Health offers a unique focus on the whole family system and family health policy.
Our bright, imaginative, engaged students are busy creating change within our university, nearby communities, the state, and the nation. Many have won national research fellowships, scholarly awards, and campus recognition. Our graduates are experts and innovators who are solving family problems through their work in government, non-profit agencies, and the private sector.
