The Center for Healthy Families is the marriage and family therapy clinic housed in the Department of Family Science. The Center provides family therapy to residents of surrounding communities, training for the Department's clinical graduate students, and a site for clinical research. The Center for Healthy Families serves approximately 500 area families and couples each year. The Center office is located in Room 2415 Marie Mount Hall.

The Center for Healthy Families is operated as a non-profit clinic. Services include: couples therapy, marriage therapy, family therapy, parent education, family therapy conferences, and continuing education for professionals. The Center also conducts research on family relationships, interpersonal communication, treatment for domestic violence, and varied problems facing today's families.

Center for Healthy Families therapists apply and integrate the latest research, theories, and methods in family therapy. All marriage and family therapy services are supervised by the senior clinical faculty of the Department of Family Science. Supervisors are highly qualified, experienced family therapists who bring a variety of theoretical approaches and a broad experiential base to their supervision of graduate students.
