Public health officials and health practitioners can contribute to the WHO's virtual health literacy discussion as part of the Noncommunicable Diseases and Health Literacy Global Community. Health literacy work involves several activities like health education, health policies, and public health campaigns.

This second part of the ongoing discussion provides a framework to help community members think about health literacy activities and interventions in their own countries. Discussion participants are encouraged to provide relevant documents regardless of language and to discuss high priority activities with colleagues and friends. The discussion aims to create a collective picture of the wide range of global health literacy initiatives.
