KNES Alum Steve Jordan (’98) Appears on TV as Public Speaker & Fitness Ambassador
From working in the White House to guest starring on The Today Show, Kinesiology alum Steve Jordan (’98) has been working as a public speaker and fitness ambassador across the country.
Enduring a crippling accident in 1994, Jordan underwent open brain surgery that caused short-term memory loss, hearing loss and facial paralysis. Immersing hiself in exercise, diet and a healthy lifestyle Jordan was able to recover and was inspired to motivate and educate others.
While earning his degree at Maryland Jordan operated a personal training business, ultimately earning him a personal training position in the White House. Jordan later moved to Los Angeles, working as a celebrity personal trainer and appearing on TV media outlets such as NBC, ABC, and Oxygen.
Jordan also created The Posture Perfect Program, which provides alternative ways to correct posture through rolling stretching an exercise.
