SPH Assistant Professor Jennifer Roberts (Kinesiology) was interviewed about her newly launched study on the possible health benefits of living near the Purple Line, a new light rail that will connect neighborhoods in Maryland's suburban Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. Dr. Roberts will "look at residents' mode of transportation before and after the Purple Line is built," according to the story. "It will also take into account physical activity to see if the new light rail line makes residents healthier."
