Julie Fife is a fourth-year Maternal and Child Health doctoral candidate from Montana. She earned a B.S. in Health Sciences from Boise State University and an MPH from the University of Montana. Her interest in maternal and child health began during her two-year AmeriCorps service where she worked with school-based family resource centers in Missoula, MT. Julie most recently worked as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Montana's School of Public Health teaching courses for graduate students in public health. Julie was also the Montana Primary Care Office Director for the Montana Department of Health and Human Services where she coordinated the state's health professional shortage area (HPSA) designations data collection and analysis. She is interested in evaluating the impact of community-based programs and policies on family health. She enjoys exploring the east coast, eating good food, going to shows, and reading biographies and historical fiction.
