Samantha Ammons is a first-year MPH student in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. In 2014, Ms. Ammons received a BA in Government in Politics with a minor in International Relations and Conflict Management from University of Maryland, College Park. After graduating from UMD, Samantha worked at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation's U.S Military HIV Research Program as a Program Assistant and at Westat as a Research Assistant in the Evaluation Research Department. She currently works at the Earth Systems Science Interdisciplinary Center as a Graduate Student Researcher and focuses on how climate change impacts human health.
