This is the ninth year of our School of Public Health's Research Interaction Day school-wide research event and it is the first year Research Interaction Day is part of the School's Passport Program (http://sph.umd.edu/home/passport/). This year's event is held on Friday, September 18, 2009, 10 am - 12:30 pm, in the Volley Ball gym. For this annual event undergraduate and graduate students and faculty are invited to present, attend and take part in learning about and discussing the School's research and scholarly activities. This Day gives visibility to on-going and planned research activities ranging from completed research that has been presented at meetings to early stage concepts of research projects. The primary purpose of this annual Fall event is to stimulate networking among students and faculty, celebrate our commitment to scientific discovery and express our appreciation to our university and community collaborators.
This year we have a few new approaches and tools to guide your learning and viewing.
