Robin Puett, PhD
(Assistant Professor, MIAEH) received her PhD in epidemiology and environmental health science from South Carolina in 2004. She was on the faculty there before joining the UM in 2011. She has 12 publications. Her expertise is in the use of spatial epidemiology, statistics, environmental epidemiology, and exposure assessment in environmental health. She is the PI on a R01 to study air pollution exposures, inflammation and subclinical CVD in type 1 diabetic youth. She has also studied air pollution-related health outcomes in the Nurses’ Health Study and Health Professionals Follow-up Study cohorts. Dr. Pruett has supervised and funded numerous masters and doctoral students to this point on her career.
