Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Science (MS) Programs
The Master of Arts program in Kinesiology prepares the next generation of researchers, scholars, teachers, and professional leaders in the interdisciplinary field of Kinesiology. Kinesiologists focus on health and wellness with movement at the core, so their skills are in demand. Students can focus their course of study in one of several areas, including cognitive motor neuroscience, exercise physiology, physical cultural studies and the K-12 phsyical education master's certificate (MCERT).
The Couple and Family Therapy (CFT) M.S. program ranks among the nation's top three and provides students with coursework and supervised clinical training required in states with Couple and Family Therapy licensure. The program trains professionals in superior therapeutic skills, ethical integrity, intellectual curiosity, and a sincere commitment to working with families from diverse populations. The CFT program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Complete and essential core of knowledge in environmental health, epidemiology and biostatistics, with a research focus in a specialized area of environmental health, via completion of a master’s thesis.
