Visiting the Kinesiology Department


The Kinesiology Department office is open Mondays through Fridays 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (T 301-405-2450). The building hours are Mondays through Fridays 6 AM to 8 PM, Saturdays 7 AM to 2 PM, and closed Sunday.

    • Enter next roundabout & take 2nd exit onto Regents Dr (0.3)

Metered parking is available in lots MM2, PP2, as indicated on the map. More metered parking is available between buildings 99 and 255 (SPH).

Visitors may also park for free in Lot PP2 (next to the SPH Building) after 4 PM weekdays and on weekends without a permit.

Public Transportation

From Washington, DC, visitors can take the Metro Green Line to College Park and then the free University of Maryland shuttle bus to the campus on weekdays during the fall and spring semesters.

The SPH building is accessible to all visitors. Visitors with disabilities who have handicap (HC) license plates may park at unpaid meter spaces for twice the duration of the meter, not to exceed four hours.
