Jennifer Schwartz named new SPH Assistant Dean for Development

After serving in an interim capacity since September 2017, Jennifer Schwartz will join the dean's office as School of Public Health Assistant Dean for Development.
Ms. Schwartz comes to the SPH from the A. James Clark School of Engineering, where she has been serving as senior director for Corporate & Foundation Relations since 2010. She has deep experience in developing and managing donor and alumni relationships, and she has a successful track record of raising money for the Clark School. Prior to coming to UMD, Jennifer worked more than 13 years in performing arts management in the U.S. and Canada. She has an MBA from George Mason University and a BA in History from Harvard University.
Jennifer is passionate and excited about the field of public health and looks forward to identifying new resources to elevate the mission and reputation of the School of Public Health, infusing the SPH development office with creativity and excellence, and helping ensure that the school exceeds its goal for Fearless Ideas: The Campaign for Maryland.
