Family Science alumna Weena Cullins ('05), a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist, was featured in Terp Magazine's Winter 2015 edition for her regular on-air marriage counseling appearances with D.C. radio personality Pablo Sato.

Cullins completed her M.S. in couple and family therapy, and now runs a couples-based therapy practice in Upper Marlboro, Md. She joined Pablo Sato's radio show on WPGC 95.5 in 2014, helping the host and his then-fiancee work through everyday relationship hurdles in the studio, as well as listeners who called in with their own relationship concerns.

"I was more concerned about representing therapists everywhere and making sure I could bring good clinical judgment and sound guidance to a show that crosses a lot of boundaries,” Cullins told Terp Magazine. “We therapists are learning to bring pieces of ourselves to sessions with clients. We laugh with each other. We cry with each other. We sharpen each other.”
