Biography

Andrew Anderson is a research scientist at the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management. His works aims to identify the drivers of patient outcomes and inform the development of policy that supports high-quality, equitable health care. He currently leads research assessing the impact of social determinants of health on hospital readmissions. His work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Health Affairs and Medical Care.  He is a former NCQA Phyllis Torda Health Care Quality Fellow and Robert Wood John Foundation (RWJF) Health Policy Research Scholar.
