Colleen Farmer

Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Affairs, Office of the Dean

Dr. Colleen Farmer received her PhD in exercise physiology from the University of Maryland Department of Kinesiology, an MS in exercise science from Northern Michigan University and a BS in physical education from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Her research focused on the changes in lipid metabolism that occur as a result of chronic exercise.

She served in the Peace Corps in the Philippines and is a dedicated environmentalist and wildlife advocate. Dr. Farmer’s focus is on helping students learn how to change the world a little bit and lead lives that are interesting, challenging and fun.
