Debby Bors is a first-year PhD student in behavioral and community health. She holds a BS in biology from William and Mary, a certificate in cytotechnology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an MA in women's studies with a focus on health from Ohio State University, where she designed and taught an upper-level course on women's health issues. Prior to matriculating at UMD, she worked as an editor of health books for 12 years and also indexed scholarly books. Her main research interests are women and cardiovascular disease and health disparities between women and men. In her free time, Debby enjoys walking, dogs, stone circles, and researching fun locations to visit, both locally, nationally, and internationally.
