Jessica earned a B.S. in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at the University of Missouri-Columbia and M.S. in Sports Biomechanics at Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. She came to Maryland after several years of working as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and running coach in Miami. She enjoys training for and competing in half-marathons and triathlons. Jessica's dissertation research focuses on how runners' training habits affect mechanical outcomes associated with tibial stress fracture injury.
