Laura Golojuch is a fourth-year doctoral student from Arlington, Virginia. She graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Psychology and English and Studio Art minors. Laura earned her M.S. in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Maryland and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Her Masters thesis explored the transition to adulthood for socioeconomically disadvantaged young Black men. Laura’s research interests include the unique experiences of Black men in the transition to adulthood, health disparities, integrating services for socioeconomically disadvantaged families, and community engaged research. In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with friends and family, eating, cooking, and practicing yoga.
