Academic Advisor, Behavioral and Community Health

As an Undergraduate Academic Advisor, Matt Wootten helps students create individualized plans for graduation. In addition to helping current Community Health majors navigate the curriculum, Matt also meets with current University of Maryland students who are interested in the Community Health major.

As an alum of the College of Education at the University of Maryland (MA-Higher Education), Matt Wootten is passionate about the college student experience and the academic success of each student. Before joining the School of Public Health, Matt served as an Academic Counselor for the Academic Support & Career Development Unit (ASCDU) of Maryland Athletics.
