Nancy Gray Smith
Nancy Smith, PhD has over 25 years of public health experience working for Washington DC area consulting firms in technical and managerial roles. The majority of this experience was under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in health program planning and evaluation. Outside of government contracting Dr. Smith served as program evaluator for the Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic Region’s Latino Center of Excellence. Dr. Smith came to the University of Maryland in 2009 as a Lecturer in the Department of Behavioral and Community Health. She since was given the title of Assistant Clinical Professor where she has taken on a variety of additional responsibilities in the School of Public Health to include undergraduate academic advising, internship coordination, and supporting graduate student services.
