Rosemary received her Bachelor of Technology in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri in Nigeria. She went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration, majoring in general management from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She completed her Master's of Public Health with a concentration in environmental health science from the University of Maryland in 2018 and is now pursuing her Ph.D in environmental health science. Her research interests are environmental justice, global health, air pollution, especially among disadvantaged populations. Her current research assesses the air quality of human exposure to particulate matter and volatile organic compounds near a concrete block plant and traffic in Bladensburg, Maryland. The purpose of this work is to inform policy and educate residents using a community based participatory research framework.
