Ruth Enid Zambrana
Ruth Enid Zambrana, Ph.D. is Professor in the Department of Women’s Studies, Director of the Consortium on Race, Gender and Ethnicity, Interim Director of the U.S. Latino Studies Initiative at the University of Maryland, College Park, and Adjunct Professor of Family Medicine at University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine. Her work focuses on the intersections of gender, race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status and other contextual variables in disparities in the provision of public health, human services and education with an emphasis on Latino women, children, and youth.
