This project will accomplish three main objectives: 1) Systematically review and summarize the extant research literature on gambling among college students and other young adults 2) Present the results of analyses of already existing longitudinal data from the NIDA-funded College Life Study (CLS) to describe the nature and extent of gambling activities among a large sample of young adults recently in college & 3) Translate findings from the preceding review and analyses into policy-relevant information and recommendations in the form of an Executive Summary and a powerpoint presentation. The entire report can then be disseminated widely by the Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling via their web site and other mechanisms.
