Each time slot accommodates 25 patients. Please choose only one of the available slots. Flu shot clinic registrants are responsible for adding their scheduled appointment time to their own calendars, as the system does not send appointment reminders. You must indicate your intention to participate in advance, this is critical to ensure that adequate clinic staff and vaccination doses are provided. If you cannot make the time you selected or have any questions, please email Michelle Kong (michko6@umd.edu).
Patients over the age of 65 are eligible for the Fluzone High-Dose Vaccine. Email Michelle as soon as possible if you are interested since supply is limited.
After registering, make sure your insurance information is on file and up to date with the UHC by visiting myuhc.umd.edu.
If you have never been to the UHC, upload your insurance card by going to myuhc.umd.edu and click on "Insurance Card". Contact the registration desk at 301-405-7440 or uhc-registration@umd.edu if you need assistance. The Health Center is in network with CareFirst BCBS PPO/EPO, United Health Care PPO/EPO, Aetna PPO/EPO, Cigna PPO/EPO, or the SHIP insurance.
As a reminder the Health Center does not accept Kaiser Permanente and Medicaid. Reminders for the day of the SPH Flu Clinic:
- You are NOT required to wear a face mask. However, if you are experiencing respiratory symptoms, masks are encouraged.
- Recommended attire: a loose sleeve or T-shirt to provide easy access to the injection site (upper arm).
- Bring your UID, and make sure your insurance is up to date at myuhc.umd.edu. If you are unable to update your information in the system, please bring a front/back copy of your insurance card to the clinic.
