To help prepare SPH students to submit abstracts and prepare their poster and lightning round presentations for the SPH Public Health Research & Practice event on April 4, 2024, the Office of Graduate Student Services is hosting a series of How-to Effectively Present your Research & Practice virtual workshops.

Tableau is a data visualization and business intelligence tool that enables users to create interactive and insightful dashboards. Throughout the workshop, we will go over the fundamentals of Tableau, from connecting data to making a full-blown dashboard. The learning goal of the workshop is to learn to make the Tableau interface approachable, not only for end-use visualization but also for meaningful data analyses. This workshop is for those who have never used Tableau before or are beginner-level skilled in it. Please have Tableau downloaded in your system using the details below. Practice Tableau using the GIS and Spatial Data Center’s self-paced workshops and manual.
