Welcome to the University of Maryland Prevention Research Center Speaker Series! Join us online for a engaging talk from an expert in the field of prevention research.

Session Learning Objectives:

1. Compare the strengths and limitations of traditional academic articles and comics formats for health communication.

2. Describe how artists and researchers can collaborate for impact.

3. Reflect on a case study of an academic-artist collaboration to create a zine based on research on chest binding in trans communities.

4. Identify methods for evaluating the impact of health communication tools, such as comics.
