Dr. Héctor E. Alcalá is an Assistant Professor at the Stony Brook University Program in Public Health. His research examines the impact of early life adversity on health, the impact of discrimination on health, and health disparities more broadly. He received his PhD in Public Health from UCLA and completed his PostDoc at the Cancer Center at the University of Virginia.
