On March 8, 2023, you can support one or more of our funds that make possible innovative scholarship and initiatives in areas including pandemic preparedness; social, racial and environmental justice; LGBTQ+ mental health; health literacy; global health and healthy aging.  You may also use the search function on this page to find your favorite SPH department, center or program.

 

School-Wide Priorities

Robin Mockenhaupt Endowed Student Award of Public Health Practice
The Robin Mockenhaupt Endowed Student Award of Public Health Practice fund provides support to graduate and undergraduate students in the School of Public Health for costs associated with accessing the full range of Public Health Practice learning opportunities including classroom, internship/externship, and extracurricular experiences.

Doctoral Recruiting Current Use Graduate Fellowship in Health Literacy
Alice M. Horowitz, Ph.D. ’92 established the Doctoral Recruiting Current-Use Graduate Fellowship in Health Literacy in June 2022. This fund provides support for doctoral students studying Health Literacy in the School of Public Health.

Student Emergency Scholarship Fund
Support SPH students who are confronted with economic hardships that could prevent them from being able to remain in school.

 

Make the Most of Your Gift with Giving Day Challenges

Dean's Council Match
Thanks to a generous gift from the School of Public Health's Dean's Council, all gifts of up to $20,000 will be matched, dollar for dollar.  Each donor, helps us towards our goal to unlock the following challenges: 

Help us Hit our Dollar Challenge
$100,000 will be donated to SPH when we hit $95,000 in total gifts. Special thanks to Research Professor Emerita Dr. Pamela I. Clark for her generosity.

Alumni Challenge
$5,000 will be donated to SPH when we hit 75 alumni donors! The best time to give is 9 am - 10 am or 7 pm - 8 pm EST. Special thanks to Former Dean Jane E. Clark and Dr. Jill Whitall for their generosity. 

Faculty/Staff Challenge
$5,000 will be donated to SPH when we hit 100 gifts by faculty and staff! The best time to give is 11 am - 1 pm EST. Special thanks to Former Dean Dr. Robert S. Gold and Ms. Barbara A. Gold for their generosity.

Overall Donor Challenge
$5,000 will be donated to SPH when we hit 225 gifts overall! The best time to give is 3 pm - 4 pm EST. Special thanks to Dean Boris Lushniak and Dr. Patricia Cusamano for their generosity
