NAPHSA, the nation’s first organization to specifically represent the interests of public health students and alums, is seeking leaders to serve as Chapter Presidents for their school or program of public health. NAPHSA is a student and graduate-run grassroots organization leveraging the power of the nation’s 140,000 public health students and 250,000 recent graduates to use their voices to advocate for public health and to serve as change agents to empower the public health profession.
NAPHSA has organized two successful advocacy efforts, including the nation’s first Public Health Students and Graduates Hill week and sign-on letters gathering 4,000 signatures that have been submitted to the US House of Representatives and Senate. Their first campaign advocated for student loan repayment for public health graduates who work in health departments.
