April graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. in Psychology. She later earned an M.S. in Academic Advising with a specialization in Intercollegiate Athletics from Kansas State University. She is passionate about collaborating with and helping students to better understand who they are, how they want to change the world, and how to craft a plan to make it happen. Before joining the Center for Academic Success and Achievement, April was an Academic Advisor for the Department of Kinesiology in the School of Public Health.
