Dr. Renee Gindi

Dr. Renee Gindi is the chief of the Dissemination Technology and Services Branch at the CDC’s Office of Public Health Data Surveillance and Technology, where she leads the modernization of data dissemination and data visualization tools to support informed public health decision-making. Her earlier work at the agency focused on designing, analyzing, and reporting on federal health statistical surveys and vital statistics data. Prior to federal service, she worked in city and state health departments on randomized behavioral trials, STD/HIV surveillance, and analyses of healthcare data. Dr. Gindi received her Ph.D. in epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
