Sherri-Chanelle Brighthaupt

Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of Graduate Studies

Sherri-Chanelle Brighthaupt (pronounced Bright-hop) is a behavioral scientist with strengths in educational instruction, advocacy, and project implementation.  Dr. Brighthaupt’s background in public health spans mental health, substance use epidemiology, and adolescent health. She uses mixed-method approaches to study vulnerable populations and is particularly interested in using trauma-informed, research-driven approaches to support individual growth. Drawing on her interdisciplinary background, she works to ensure students receive a supportive educational experience, both inside and outside the classroom.
