Public Health Research at Maryland 2022
The 2022 Public Health Research at Maryland event was co-organized by the School of Public Health and the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and held virtually.
The event included a co-keynote conversation between Dr. Joseph Wright and Dr. Roderick King, both from the University of Maryland Medical System and three panels (on community engagement across the state, health literacy and global learning for health equity).

Since 2013, MPowering the State has sponsored our annual event showcasing innovations in public health research and its implications for the health of our Maryland communities.
The University of Maryland School of Public Health (in College Park) partners each year with our colleagues in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (in Baltimore) to plan the program and to engage researchers from diverse disciplines from the College Park and Baltimore campuses and beyond.
