Maryam A. Hashmi

Maryam Hashmi, MPH, is a Faculty Specialist at the School of Public Health. She earned her Master of Public Health in Public Health Practice and Policy from UMD and brings expertise in project management, program support, and public health research.

Her work includes serving on the Maryland Commission on Public Health Data & IT Workgroup, co-investigating Maryland Open Source Textbook (M.O.S.T.) OER initiatives, and co-authoring a scoping review on “Strategy as Practice by Hospital Personnel”. With certification in Lean Six Sigma, Maryam is committed to advancing efficient and equitable approaches in public health education and practice.
