Join us for a volunteer opportunity organized by the School of Public Health Alumni Network at the Capital Area Food Bank on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm ET. We will sort and pack food donations for DC-area families who are experiencing food insecurity.
Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age to volunteer. All under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and actively supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Please note volunteers are required to wear close-toed shoes and are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing.
As of March 2023, all volunteers MUST BE VACCINATED and are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times in our facility over their mouth and nose during their volunteer shift. Each volunteer will be asked to sign a waiver prior to beginning their shift. The waivers will be available for signature on sight.
