Social Action Award 

This merit-based award, given each spring while funds permit, will recognize one Public Health student or a team of students who demonstrate excellence in social action through a planned event, campaign, or project designed to improve the well-being of traditionally marginalized groups.

Spotlight: Taha Nasir '23, MHA '25

At the end of his father’s life in 2020, Taha Nasir found himself spending unending hours in the hospital surrounded by the complexity of the healthcare system. That difficult time shaped a new career goal for Nasir: to work on improving healthcare systems by joining his two passions, business and health, into a career in healthcare management.
