Social Action Award
This merit-based award, given each spring while funds permit, will recognize one Public Health student or a team of students who demonstrate excellence in social action through a planned event, campaign, or project designed to improve the well-being of traditionally marginalized groups.

The purpose of this project is for TouchPoint Baltimore to identify and understand how their services can fit into the identified needs of the surrounding Mondawmin community. TouchPoint Baltimore’s mission is to nurture collaborations across Baltimore by developing personal connections to ensure everyone is lifted up. To do this, they strive to empower their communities and neighbors. One goal of TouchPoint is to promote the public health of the greater Mondawmin community.
