But the long-awaited moment to, as Dean Lushniak puts it, ‘begin again’ was postponed.

Sidiki Keita ’23 has always had a passion for physical activity. An avid athlete, his love for sports such as wrestling and track led him to pursue a degree in kinesiology. The University of Maryland School of Public Health announced Tuesday it will launch an undergraduate major in global health along with the Department of Global, Environmental, and Occupational Health (GEOH) in Fall 2024. The department will replace and expand upon the Maryland Institute for Applied Environmental Health (MIAEH).

That’s how it’s always been for the Edwards girls. The two sets of fraternal twins, born less than two years apart, have supported each other in everything, from cheerleading competitions to a specialty high school program to now all attending the University of Maryland.
