Assistant Professor, Epidemiology and Biostatistics
Dr. Huang (Frederick) Lin is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Maryland. He specializes in statistical methodologies, machine learning, and deep learning techniques for high-dimensional omics data, notably in microbiome and metabolomics studies. His expertise also extends to causal inference in bioinformatics. Collaboratively, Dr. Lin's research spans cancer, infectious diseases like HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, and clinical trials evaluation.
