With a career marked by innovation, leadership and a deep commitment to public health, Jennifer Clerie, B.S. '16, MBA, embodies the impact of a University of Maryland School of Public Health (SPH) education.  A leader across roles, Clerie is both the new president of the SPH Alumni Network Board and a senior data manager at the Emmes Company.

Tia Cunningham is passionate about supporting students in all the ways – how they connect, how they belong and how they grow beyond UMD into meaningful careers.

2024 Fall semester is off to a great start with new graduate students gathering for orientation, connecting across diverse specialties and backgrounds, hearing from inspiring faculty, getting involved in a lively resource fair and, of course, enjoying ice cream!
