Bonnie Miranda
Bonnie Miranda is a professional administrator and cat herder formerly of the Office of Faculty Affairs, where she was primarily responsible for administration and oversight of the University's Appointment, Promotion, and Tenure ("APT") processes, workshops, and Committees. Prior to her decade here at UMD, Bonnie was a horse trainer and equine nutrition consultant.
As the proud mom of three, one of them an SPH Family Science alum, Bonnie is deeply committed to the mission of the School and is most passionate about promoting equity and racial justice throughout academia and beyond. She enjoys reading, creative writing, and kayaking with her dogs. She is an experienced mentor, facilitating conflict resolution training and coaching global leadership programs. She resides in southern Prince George's County with her husband and the best pets in the world.
